Today the legendary youth club Bily Konicek, which is to be found in one of the oldest cellars on the Old Town Square and which has been visited by legends such as Frank Zappa or Barbara Streisand, comes to life once again.
The extensive Romanesque cellars that date back to the 12th century undergone extensive - almost 4 year long - reconstructions and on the 1st of November 2009 they have therefore become the Oldest Jazz and Blues venue in the world, where live music is played every night from 21:00.
Bílý koníček Jazz & Blues Lounge is the new stage of Prague’s music scene, with live concerts every night by one of the leading Czech and International jazz and blues groups. Bílý koníček Jazz & Blues Lounge is fully air-conditioned, during the concerts is non-smoking (but there are designated smoking areas) has very good and hi tech sound system and offers dining possibilities until midnight. With all these factors combined, one is bound to experience an unforgettable evening.
